Service Patch (SP) #30 includes a security enhancement to resolve a vulnerability that includes the potential for arbitrary or malicious code to be installed on a personal computer. The SP updates the WebEx ActiveX and Java Downloader plug-ins and is recommended for all users. WebEx has not received any reports of personal computers compromised as a result of the now-resolved vulnerability. In accordance with security best practices, WebEx has easy upgrade procedures available for individuals and IT departments, including detailed documentation.
