Support for Meeting Center on the iPhone
General questions about the iPhone Meeting Center application
I’m not a WebEx customer. Can I still use this application?
You can join a WebEx meeting from your iPhone if the WebEx invitation you receive in email contains a link entitled “To join the meeting on iPhone.” First download the Cisco WebEx Meeting Center application from the Apple iTunes App Store and then return to your WebEx invitation. Call the phone number on your meeting invitation. After joining the audio conference, click the “To join the meeting on iPhone” link to join the Web portion of the meeting.
If your WebEx meeting uses WebEx audio conferencing, you’ll receive a call after you tap the “To join the meeting on iPhone” link. Answering the call automatically places you in the audio conference. Then go to the iPhone Home screen and tap on the WebEx Meet icon to join the Web portion of the meeting.

Setting up Meeting Center on the iPhone
Why should I set up an account?
What is the Profile page for?
Do I need an account on the Profile page before being able to join a meeting?
You can join a meeting without an account on the Profile page. Simply follow the instructions in the invitation email and tap on the hyperlink available for iPhone users. If you do have an account, you should set it up on the Profile page so you can do more things from the WebEx app – such as being able to start your WebEx meetings from your iPhone.
What information is needed to set up an account on the Profile page?
You must specify a phone number to handle the audio teleconference. This can be your iPhone number, another mobile number, landline office, home number, etc. You can set up two numbers if you wish. Next, enter your meeting Site URL (same one that you have on your computer), usually in the form: companyname.webex.com/companyname. Then enter your username and password. You will also see “iPhone Name.” This is the name you will use to join the meeting. Finally, you can enter your email address. Repeat these steps if you have more than one account.

When joining the meeting, I got a prompt for audio callback, but ignored it. How do I call into the meeting?
Why do I get an error message saying that the meeting I am trying to join is not supported from the iPhone?
Common reasons:
- The meeting has been scheduled on a meeting site with which the iPhone application is not compatible.
- The meeting type might be technically incompatible with the iPhone (e.g. meeting is VoIP-only, meeting requires end-to-end encryption, meeting requires users to be registered, etc.).
- The meeting may be WebEx Pay-Per-Use which is not supported.

Solving In-Meeting Problems
When I join my meeting, I am not able to see any content. What should I do?
If you are the meeting host, you will not see any content unless you make another participant the presenter. If you joined a meeting as a participant, it is likely that the host/presenter is not sharing content or is sharing content that is unsupported on the iPhone (streaming video, Flash, etc.). If you are not on a 3G or WiFi network you can only participate in the meeting through the audio teleconference.
I can join my meeting, but keep getting disconnected. What should I do?
The audio dropped out, how do I reconnect?
I answered an incoming call while I was in the meeting and got disconnected from the meeting. Why did that happen and what do I need to do?
On the iPhone, only one 3rd party (non-Apple) application can be used at one time. If the WebEx application is being used and you answer an incoming call, the iPhone will terminate the WebEx application. To rejoin your meeting, go back to the email invitation and tap on the join link or start the WebEx app and find your meeting on your My Meetings page.
How do I switch to another application to find some information, and then switch back?
Why did the screen go blank or the presentation disappear?
Common reasons: the presenter may not be sharing; the presenter may be sharing a content format that is not supported on the iPhone; poor network connectivity resulting in no data coverage. You may have accidentally activated the proximity detector near the earphone receiver. Simply remove your fingers from that area and the screen will be visible again.
International/Global Use
Is Meeting Center on the iPhone available globally?
Yes, this application works wherever iPhones are supported and 3G / WiFi networks are available. Besides English, WebEx Meeting Center on the iPhone is localized in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. For other languages, the application will work in English.
I travel often. What happens when I go to Rome, London, Melbourne, Hong Kong, or some such place?
Meeting Center works wherever iPhones are supported and 3G/WiFi networks are available. Please confirm with your mobile operator that you are provisioned to access voice and data services while roaming internationally. You must turn on International Roaming from the Settings page on your iPhone to enable access to WebEx. You may incur additional (toll) voice and data roaming charges from your mobile operator as a result of this usage.
How does audio callback work when I roam in the United States?
How does audio callback work when I roam outside of the United States?
If international audio callback is enabled on the WebEx meeting site, it will work the same as when you are local. There may be a slight delay because you are roaming abroad. If international audio callback has been disabled on the WebEx meeting site, the application will automatically attempt to call in to the main teleconference number for the meeting site. Note that this could be an international toll call.
