WebEx Users Award Five Companies for Innovative Use of Web Meeting Applications within Business Processes

Administaff Wins 2005 WebEx Innovator of the Year Award

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 19, 2005—WebEx Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: WEBX), the leading provider of on-demand web meeting applications, today announced the results of the 2005 WebEx Innovator Awards, an annual award series that recognizes the innovative use of WebEx applications. The category winners include Administaff (NYSE: ASF), BCC Software, Lawson Software, Lending Solutions Consulting, Sage Software (formerly Best Software). In addition to being named a category winner, Administaff also received the Innovator of the Year Award.

The 2005 WebEx Innovator Award winners were selected by WebEx customers through online voting. The winning companies were chosen based on their commitment, creativity, innovation and return on investment (ROI). Administaff received its award today in a ceremony at its corporate headquarters located in Houston.

Administaff, which serves as a human resources department for small and medium-sized businesses throughout the country, is the 2005 WebEx Meeting Center category winner and the recipient of the prestigious Innovator of the Year Award. The company was looking for a way to further enhance client services, and to help improve internal communications by expediting the dissemination of information. An additional benefit has been Administaff’s ability to pursue new business by using WebEx Meeting Center for online sales presentations and meetings.

BCC Software, a PC-based mail-management software system company, uses WebEx through the entire customer lifecycle and is the 2005 WebEx Enterprise Edition category winner. BCC Software fist started using WebEx Meeting Center to increase sales. The increase in sales soon outpaced its ability to train new customers, so BCC Software brought in WebEx Training Center to help improve the efficiency of its training program. It was not long before the BCC Software support organization caught on and started using WebEx Support Center to troubleshoot and resolve issues instantly.

Lawson Software, a company that provides business application software and consulting services to more 2,200 services organizations around the world, is the 2005 WebEx Support Center category winner. Lawson launched a new support initiative called “Stop the Insanity” that included integrating WebEx Support Center into their existing support infrastructure. As a result, Lawson increased first-call resolution to 53 percent, reduced average handling time by 25 percent, and calculated an astounding 937.5 percent ROI from WebEx Support Center.

Sage Software, a provider of business management software solutions for small- to- mid-sized businesses, has successfully transformed its training program into a revenue generator by using WebEx Training Center. In 2003, Sage created a new training program called “Anytime Learning” that offered subscription access to recorded training sessions. These short, 5-15 minute programs are catalogued for easy, self-service reference by the customer. This on-demand library lightens the training load on channel partners, captures new revenue, increases adoption rates and reduces support costs. Sage Software is the 2005 WebEx Training Center category winner.

Lending Solutions Consulting, a provider of lending center services and consulting programs, was looking for a cost-effective way to scale its popular training seminars. WebEx Event Center allowed Lending Solutions to offer a virtual attendee package and created a new, incremental revenue stream for the company. Lending Solutions is the 2005 WebEx Event Center category winner
