Measuring for Success: How CEOs View the Success of Learning Investments
There is no stakeholder more important in learning and development (L&D) than the top executive, whose commitment, support and funding is absolutely critical to success. Sometimes the level of executive support depends on the CEO's perception of the value that L&D programs contribute to the organization. Previous research offers other opinions regarding the CEO's view of the success of L&D. Now, a major study provides collective input directly from 96 CEOs of Fortune 500 and top privately owned companies. This research reveals insights into the results executives want to see from L&D compared to what they currently receive. The ROI Institute Inc. will present the research findings and explain what they mean to learning professionals.
After attending this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify the eight categories of data that should be provided to every CEO.
- Describe the executive view of the success of L&D.
- Plan specific actions to increase the accountability of L&D.
