Mind Shift: Exploring Misconceptions About Virtual Training

Mind Shift: Exploring Misconceptions About Virtual Training
What are your beliefs about virtual training? If you're like most people, your past virtual learning experiences range from boring and mediocre, to fun, interesting, and expansive. As more training professionals enter the realm of virtual training, there are many paradigms, or belief patterns, that exist in organizations that can be obstacles to successful implementation. In this webinar, Blanchard virtual training consultants Cathy Huett and Randy Conley will explore some commonly held assumptions and beliefs about virtual training as compared to face to face training.

Cathy and Randy will examine such paradigms as
  • Virtual training is easier and more cost effective than face-to-face training
  • Face to face training offers the highest level of learner engagement
  • A good face-to-face trainer is a good virtual trainer
Virtual training is a broad term for learning experiences using an array of online platforms and tools, sometimes instructor-led and sometimes not. This session will help training professionals respond to myths and misconceptions that often arise in organizations around virtual training initiatives.
