Remote Workers Make Green Impact at Continental Airlines

Remote Workers Make Green Impact at Continental Airlines
Continental Airlines was named by Fortune magazine in 2007 as a Top 10 Most Admired Company in the Community/Environment category. One of their 'working green' initiatives was the conversion of over 1000 agents from a brick-and-mortar setting to home-based workplaces. This shift removed a dramatic amount of carbon emissions from four major metro areas, and made them a more efficient company in the process. 'Working together' is a cornerstone of Continental's company culture and using online collaboration technologies like WebEx, they were able to extend that culture to the remote workforce as well.
Attend this 50-minute Webinar to learn how they managed the transition for their remote workforce, and realized benefits in facility optimization, employee satisfaction and cost savings. Main topics include:
  • How they sold management and staff on the change
  • Deployment hurdles and surprises
  • Maintaining company culture and loyalty
  • Green impact of the initiative
  • Keys to making telework a success
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of our panel live during the session.
